Yashiramarie Santiago

Yashiramarie Santiago, a Windsor resident, passed away at the age of 32, on December 15, 2023. She was born on February 19, 1991 in Hartford, CT, where she spent most of her years amongst family and friends.

Yashira, was a loving wife and caring mother of two. She is survived by her husband Luis Alberto Maldonado, her son Matthew Lee Martinez-Santiago (15), and her daughter Sarai Lu’Marie Maldonado (7), along with other family members, extended family and loved ones.

Yashira was a beautiful young lady who enjoyed celebrating the beauty in others as well. She was always the one to put the needs of others above her own. Whether she was taking the time to braid a friend’s hair or lending a listening ear to encourage someone through a difficult time, her actions demonstrated that she aspired to serve others. Many would say that Yashira was a true example of what a Proverbs 31 woman should be.

Funeral services for Yashiramarie Santiago will take place at All Faith Memorial Chapel, 90 John Fitch Blvd, South Windsor, CT 06074 on Thursday, December 28, from 9 AM until 1 PM. Funeral processions will follow, leading to Mount Saint Benedict Cemetery, 1 Cottage Grove Rd. Bloomfield, CT 06002.
