Willie H. aka “Mr. Clean” Milner Jr., 86 of Windsor, CT., passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on August 3, 2022. Willie was born in Parrot, GA. on April 10, 1936 to the late Willie Homer Milner Sr. and Ida Mae (Walton) Thomas.
After relocating to Hartford, CT. at the age of 20, Willie worked as a farmer, a printer at Quality Name Plate in East Glastonbury, CT. and an iron molder at Taylor & Fenn in Windsor, CT. After retiring, he went to work at Sam Lay’s Vegetable Truck where everyone know him as Clean and enjoyed his conversation.
Willie enjoyed his gospel music. He would often relive his days when he sung with The Bright Stars Gospel Singers of Hartford, CT. They would travel from Massachusetts all the way to Philadelphia, PA. to showcase their talents. Willie enjoyed dancing and spending time with his family.
Willie leaves to cherish his memories his wife of 30 years, Annette (Manson) Milner. His children; Euther Solomon (Jerry) of Bristol, FL., Steven Milner (Julia) of Hartford, CT., Clinton Milner of Hartford, CT., and Ida Jones (Linworth) of Bloomfield, CT. A sister Mary Ann Thomas of West Hartford, CT. 4 Stepchildren; Stanley Manson, LaDwina Manson Snype, Bettina Manson and Manuel Manson; Eleven Grandchildren; David Green, Mia, Lasheena, Jasmine and Monique Milner, Briana and Alexis Wilson, Ashley Scott, Courtenay Jackson, Steven Kennedy and Jerry Solomon. Eighteen Great-Grandchildren and a host of other family members and friends.
Besides his parents, Willie was predeceased by his brothers; Robert Lee, Joseph and Clyde Milner; a son David Terrell Milner, and a daughter Bobbie Green.
