Willie Mae Davis

Willie Mae Carson was born in 1938 in Orrville Alabama to the late Eula Mae Carson and Eddie Williams.  She departed this life peacefully on Nov. 23, 2025 at Hartford Hospital in Hartford, CT. 

Willie Mae attended school and graduated from Keith High School of Orrville Alabama before moving to Birmingham Alabama where she met and married Mr. Jimmy Hue Davis.

To this union were born Annie Davis in Orrville Alabama, then Timothy and Jimmy Davis in Birmingham Alabama.

Willie Mae and husband Jimmy Davis migrated to Hartford in 1962. After migrating to Hartford three more children were born; Wade Davis, Vicky Davis and Farray Davis.  

Mrs. Willie Mae Davis was a caretaker for Care At Home Services for many years as well as a Day Care Provider.  

She moved back to Birmingham Alabama in 1986; she felt like she had a calling on her life to be a minister of the gospel.  Minister Davis became ordained in 1987.  She then moved back to Hartford, CT. where she ministered at the West Hartford Manor, the YMCA and the Betty Knox Foundation Apartments.

Rev. Davis was a very loving wife and mother, as well as grandmother, and great grandmother. 

Willie Mae Davis leaves to mourn,  Annette Davis Huff; Timothy “Duran” (Rhonda) Davis ; Vicky Little; Farray (Sherena) Davis; grandchildren: Dewan Davis, Shaheen Davis (deceased), Antwan Davis-Little; Visharia Little, Elijah Little (deceased), Sharayah Davis, Jaquan Davis, Ashley Gibbs, Diana Rivera and Patrice; Great Grandchildren: Malaya, Cairo, Amira, Elijah, Lorenzo;  a host of cousins, great cousins, friends and loved ones.  She is predeceased by her brother Johnny Lee Carson.  Mrs. Willie Mae Davis will be forever loved and missed.
