Mr. William D. Wadley was born on October 6, 1960, in Hartford Connecticut, to William and Betty Wadley. Almighty God peacefully closed the eyes of our beloved William (Dougie), on March13, 2026.
William attended the public schools of Hartford, CT. He loved sports and played midget football. When he entered high school, with his continued love for the sport he played high school football. William also loved basketball. William earned many trophy’s, recognition and honors for his sport activities.
William was a hard worker for Pierce Lahey for many years before becoming Iron Mountain, where he continued to be employed for many additional years. In February 2022, He relocated to Bedford Heights, Ohio, where he worked for IT W Permatex.
William also loved music, he was very passionate about playing his bass guitar and could be found at home, playing and/or thumping his bass. “Showtyme” was the band that he and several of his friends began and played many venues. Anyone that knew him knew he loved to play the bass guitar and he could sing, William never took any formal music lessons, the music was just a part of who he was, He would hear it, play it and sing it.
William rarely met a stranger and would often stop and engage in conversation with others. William owned any room he walked into, whether others knew it or not; his presence was undeniable. William was loved by many and will be deeply missed.
Loving memories will forever remain in the hearts of his sons, Moryese D. Meyers and William D. Wadley, Jr., his daughters; Whitney B. Wadley and Maryonna E.
