William A Thomas, Sr

William A Thomas Sr., 86, departed this life on Sunday, November 13 at Maple View Manor, of Rocky Hill. William was born in Hartford, CT; the son of the late Lucille and Sidney Wallace.  William leaves to cherish his memory, one daughter Robin and husband Keith Shaw; two sons, William Jr(Chucky) and Lawrence(Dewey) Thomas all of New Britain, CT; 12 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren,  a nephew, a niece, a close longtime friend Irvin Watts and a host of other nieces and nephews,  relatives and friends. Funeral services are Sunday, November 20, viewing at 3pm and funeral at 4pm at Bethesda Apostolic Church, 249 Stanley Street, New Britain, CT. Burial will be Monday, November 21, 10 a.m  in State Veteran Cemetery, Middletown, CT.   All Faith Memorial Chapel,  90 John Fitch Blvd. So. Windsor, Ct has charge of arrangements.
