William Howard Nixon, III

William Howard Nixon ||| “SKIP,  ”64, of East Hampton , Mass entered into eternal rest on July 12, 2022, after battling cancer, at his East Hampton home.
William was born in Hartford Connecticut on January 25, 1958 to William Nixon and Kathryn Mason, he resided in East Hampton Mass , where he retired from the VA Hospital. He attended high school at Loomis Chafee and graduated from Weaver High school in 1976. He then enlisted to the United States Army, then married in 1977, to Clara Starks. 
Skip enjoyed fishing with his sons. Taking them on boat trips was one thing he enjoyed most in life, he with the last boat trip he just taok on July 5, 2022.
He was predeceased by his father William Nixon Sr, mother Kathryn Mason Nixon, Brother Scott Nixon,and sister, Yvonne Edwards, he is survived by his sister Marilyn Nixon, also his ex-wife Clara Nixon of Hartford Ct which they share 6 children, 3 daughters Takenya Tinsley of South Windsor, (Julian Tinsley) Kathy Dee Braswell and Amber Nixon of Hartford Ct., 3 sons, William Nixon ||| , Eric Nixon, and Jamal Nixon, all of Hartford Ct. And he also leaves another son Justian Graham of Austin, Texas. He also leaves 11 grandchildren, and one great grandchild due to be born In September. He also leaves a host of nieces ,nephews, family, and friends. 
He also leaves behind his best friend Ted of East Hampton, Mass, that was there for him at his time of need bringing him to his appointment or wherever he needed to go.
