Wayne Renie Clark, born May 1, 1963 passed away unexpectedly February 27, 2023 at his home. He resided in Broad Brook, later moving to Enfield, CT and spent his last years in Hartford, CT. Wayne was a loving grandfather, father, son and brother. He is survived by his daughters Nichole Clark and Melissa Peltier and his son Andrew Champygny. His spirit lives on with his grandchildren, Kaden, Ricky, Aurora, Logan and Oakley. He is predeceased by his parents Renie J. and Exilia T. Clark and his best friend Michael Dealba. He spent most of his career as a deli cook and later as a line cook for Red Robin, which he loved. Wayne had an old soul with a love for all things in life. Although he struggled, he always had a smile and a positive outlook. He loved his family above all else and always gave a helping hand to everyone he met. His laugh was contagious and made you feel loved and spread warmth to everyone who heard it. He was a free spirit who found beauty in everything around him. His favorite past times were fishing with Ricky, jamming and watching wrestling.
Services will be at St. Catherine’s Church, 6 Windsorville Rd., Broadbrook, CT on Tuesday, March 7th at 10:00 a.m., followed by a burial service at Mt. Saint Benedict, 1 Cottage Grove Rd., Bloomfield, CT. Friends are welcome to join the family after services for a Celebration of Life, at The Pub, 59 John Fitch Blvd, South Windsor, CT.
