Victor Iran Guevarez

Victor Iran Guevarez, 63, of Hartford, CT, passed away peacefully on July 10, 2025. A beloved father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend, Victor lived a life full of warmth, laughter, and love for his family.

Born on August 28, 1961, Victor made Hartford his lifelong home. He was self-employed and known for his resourcefulness and strong work ethic. More than anything, Victor valued the simple joys of life: playing cards and dominoes, watching movies, taking long walks, reading, and spending meaningful time with the people he loved most.

He is survived by his two sons, Victor O’Neill of Port Richey, FL, and Sabastian Guevarez of New Britain, CT; his cherished granddaughter Ivy O’Neill of Port Richey, FL; his father Victor Manuel Guevarez of Newport, RI; and his siblings: Eneida Figueroa of Stephenville, TX, Guci Guevarez of Hartford, CT, Giselle Guevarez of Middletown, CT, Gay Guevarez-Caceres of Windsor, CT, and Ricardo Santiago of Charlton, MA. Along with many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

Victor was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Luz Marie Guevarez; his daughter Jessalina Guevarez; his sister, Raquel “Baby” Guevarez; and his nephew, Anthony Ray Baxter Jr. 

A memorial service to celebrate Victor’s life will be held at All Faith Memorial Chapel, 90 John Fitch Blvd, South Windsor, CT 06074. 7/25/25 from 6 PM-7 PM

Victor will be remembered for his generous heart, his love of laughter, and the unwavering love he gave to his family and friends. He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
