Valeritta Reid

Valeritta Reid, born March 15, 1946, peacefully passed away on June 4, 2024. She was the beloved daughter of Mavis Hamilton-Scott and Adrian Collins. Valeritta's life was marked by resilience and compassion, overcoming early hardships with unwavering strength and integrity. She worked diligently throughout her life, from her humble beginnings in Jamaica to her career in hospitality in Connecticut. Valeritta was a devoted mother to Claudette Williams and Christother Bramwell, and a loving grandmother to many. She touched countless lives with her generosity and warm spirit, creating lasting bonds wherever she went. Her love for dance and music reflected her joy for life and her deep wisdom. Valeritta's legacy will be cherished by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
