Thomas Ledbetter

Thomas “Tommy” Ledbetter Sr of Hartford Connecticut, peacefully departed this life on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at home surrounded by his loving family. Born on February 21, 1953, in Lake Lure, North Carolina, he was the Beloved son of the late William Allen Sr. and Jeanette (McAfee) Ledbetter. He was later adopted and lovingly raised by Raymond Lee Ledbetter. Thomas honorably served his country as a member of the United States Marine Corps. A Proud veteran, who lost his long-time battle with cancer. He later retired from Beacon-Light and dedicated over 25 years to coaching Youth basketball in the city of Hartford, Connecticut, a role he cherished deeply.

He leaves to cherish his memory his devoted wife, Regina (Barton) Ledbetter. He is also survived by his beloved children: Trina Edole, Sylvia Chambers, Thomas “Chicken” Ledbetter, Sherry Ledbetter, Gino Ledbetter, Latrelle Ledbetter, Charita (kenon) Ledbetter, Thomas (Quany) Ledbetter, Raven Ledbetter. He is further survived by 19 Siblings, 29 Grandchildren, 12 Great-Grand Children, and a host of nieces and nephews and dear friends.
