Steven Williams, 50, passed away on Saturday, November 16, 2024. He graduated from Weaver High School and soon after he moved to GA where he resided for over 15 years before moving back to CT and settling in New Haven, CT for the past 10 yrs. Steven worked at Deitsch Plastic Co. Inc in West Haven for over 5 years as a Machine worker/helper. He is survived by his mother Carol Williams and father John T. Crawford; a son Shaquan Palmer and three granddaughters, Amiyah Palmer Williams, Shani Palmer Williams and Zhariyah Palmer Williams; two grandsons, Shaquan Palmer Jr and Aveon Palmer; Johnette Crawford (sister) John Williams (brother) Tanika Clarke (sister) Neville Clarke (brother) Carolyn Clarke (sister) Latoya Clarke (sister); aunts, uncles and a host of nieces, nephews, All he was very close to and loved by. Steven loved to cook and would invite the neighbors over for a good Sunday dinner or wanted to battle his sisters at cooking skills. He was easy to talk to, he would go beyond and above to help anyone in a bad situation. He enjoyed laughing and wrestling with his little sister's Tia and Pudda but also loved his alone time and was very private and protective of that. He will be forever loved and missed my all who was blessed to me know him. He was predeceased by a son Kyle Dixon and a sister Nickole Williams.
I want to send a special thanks to the people he worked with, Moti Sandman (employer) Ivy Urbaez (secretary/friend) Cathlea Cape ( supervisor) who he often boasted about how they treated him so well. He referred to them as his work family and how he loved the work that he did there. Thank you.
