Steven Mitchell Obituary

Steven Mitchell, 55, of Windsor, CT entered into eternal rest on Saturday, January 28, 2017.  He was born on December 15, 1961 to Barbara and Ernest Mitchell.  Steven was a loving son, father, grandfather, brother, cousin, and friend.  A graduate of Weaver High School; Steven worked at Mercury Excellum, K-Mart, and Nationwide Movers.

 

He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Steven Mitchell Jr. of Hartford CT, Clarissa Mitchell of East Hartford CT, Monique Mitchell of Vernon CT, and Quaedele Mitchell of Hartford CT.  (Sisters) Diane  (Mitchell) Gore of East Hartford CT, Nicole Sanders, Towanda Sanders, and Karen Adams of New Britain CT.  (Brothers) Ernest Mitchell Jr. of Meriden CT, Terrence Mitchell of Hartford CT, and Kerry Sanders of New Britain CT,   brother-in-law, Johnny Gore of Massachusetts.  Eight  grandchildren, the Gibson family of Sacramento CA, a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and good friends.  (Aunts and Uncle) Jannie Langs of Hartford CT, Linda Charlemagne  of Windsor CT, and Larry and Kathy Williams of Hartford CT.  And a good friend, Nate Arter of Windsor.        

                                                                                                                                           Steven was predeceased by his parents, Ernest and Barbara Mitchell.

 

Funeral Services will be held at Friday, February 3, 2016 at 11 a.m. with viewing 10 am. at Liberty Christian Center International, 23 Vine St. Hartford, CT.  Burial will be in Mt. ST. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield, CT.
