Stephanie Valerie Jackson



Stephanie Valerie Jackson, 63, of East Hartford, entered into eternal rest on May 22, 2025, at Hartford Hospital.

Born in Hartford, CT on October 28, 1961, Stephanie was the beloved daughter of the late James Jackson and Delores Jackson (Roberts). She graduated from East Hartford High School in 1979. A woman of many passions, Stephanie found joy in creating art, cheering on her favorite team—the New York Giants—fishing, playing baseball, enjoying cookouts, and most of all, spending cherished time with her family. She had a special gift for nurturing plants, bringing life and beauty wherever she went with her remarkable green thumb.

Stephanie’s greatest joy was her family. She is survived by her two sons, Rashad Jackson of Middletown, CT, and James Jackson II of Manchester, CT; and her seven beloved grandchildren: James Jackson III of Manchester, Keandre Rattigan, Jazmyn Jackson, and Rashad Jackson Jr., all of Middletown, Jayden Jackson and Alysse Jackson of Southington, CT, and Chance Jackson of Manchester. She also leaves behind her two sisters, Marcella Jackson of Tampa, FL and Yolanda Jackson of Hartford, CT; and three brothers, Michael Jackson of Manchester, CT, Chris Jackson and Shamel Leak, both of East Hartford, CT.

Stephanie was predeceased by her sister, Kimberly Jackson.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

 Home going celebration viewing will be held on Friday, June 13th at 3PM at All Faith Memorial Chapel, 90 John Fitch Blvd. in South Windsor, CT. followed by funeral service at 4 PM.  Donations can be made to Cash.app/$RJackson311
