Shirley A. Tyson

• Shirley A. Tyson, born on January 9, 1946 departed this life on March 31, 2018. Shirley was the daughter of the late Walter and Doris Parker. Shirley  leaves  behind  her  memory  to  be  cherished  by her  extended family. Her brothers, Prince Parker Sr., Darnell Parker, Walter Parker Jr. and her sister Flora “Jacci” Walker.  Her  children,  Deitra  Tyson,  Alvetta Spencer  (Arthur),  Nathaniel  “Lee” Tyson and Michael Tyson.  Her grandchildren, Shanique Rochester (Peter), Latoia Comeaux, Lateisha Comeaux,  Desiree  Tyson, Antonio  Medina,  Nathaniel  Tyson  III,  Isaac Tyson, Nauteeka Tyson, Jaquaun Tyson, Sammeria Tyson, Zeasia Tyson, Mekia Tyson, Denzel Tyson and Caleb Tyson.  Her great grandchildren, Naszaire Rochester, Di’Andrae Taylor, Shantell Clark, Asia Rochester, Christian Pabon, Xavier Foster, Doniel Wisdom Jr., Roshane Wisdom, Skyler Nichols and London Nichols.   Her  nephews  and  nieces, Prince  “BJ”  Parker  Jr.,  Cherita  Parker,  Aaron Parker, Candice Crouch, Brooke Parker and Jamilla Parker.  She leaves  behind  a  host  of  friends  but  two  that  she  was exceptionally close to, Cheryl  “Punkin” Golden  and Hilda Betts.  Shirley was predeceased by her parents, her husband Nathaniel Tyson Sr., her brother Ronnie  Parker, grandson  Robert Comeaux  Jr.  and  her  niece  Whitney Walker.  Shirley will be greatly missed by many especially her infectious laugh and her sense of humor which she held onto until the end.
