Sha'Ref Mahan

Sha’Ref Lahiim Devon Mahan, 26, of Waterbury, CT, passed away on July 19, 2024. 

Sha’Ref was born on September 9, 1997 to Clarence Mahan Jr and Devona Burton in Tampa, Florida. He was a graduate of Wilby High School of Waterbury. Sha’Ref enjoyed embracing life, living it to the fullest and he  always remembered to have fun.

Sha’Ref was predeceased by his uncle, James Burton Jr., his parents, and paternal grandfather, Clarence Mahan Sr. He is survived by his daughter Zayla Mahan, brother Jay’Len Mahan, sister Clarissa Mahan, grandparents Rochel Lee, James Burton Sr, Loretta Mahan, and an abundance of uncles, aunts, cousins, and loving friends. He will be greatly missed.

A memorial service will be held to celebrate his life at 11am at Zion Baptist Church, 137 Pearl St., Waterbury, CT.

A Repast for family and friends will start @ 4 PM at The American Legion of Watertown located at 62 Bunker Hill Rd.
