Ruby Nadine Roberts

Ruby Nadine Roberts,55, of Preston St. Hartford, CT passed away on Sunday, June 4, 2017 at Hartford Hospital.  She was a life- long resident of Hartford, CT.   She was born on May 20, 1962 to Claude Roberts (deceased) and Annie Roberts in Midway, AL.  Ruby entered eternal rest surrounded by her family and friends.  

Ruby was employed as a member of the Direct Care Staff at Vinfen of Connecticut.  She was proud to be a member of Bethel AME Church.  She had a genuine love for people and her heart was open to any and everyone.  She loved to cook and would throw down an impromptu meal and parties bring the food and she would cook it: “Thirsty Thursdays” was always on the calendar.  Those who loved her will miss her physical presence.

Ruby was a loving mother to Chanier, Skylar, Shaylar, and Willie Grant Jr., of Hartford, CT.  She was a devoted grandmother known as “MeMa” to London, Paris, Damier, Dream, Dana, Danaya, Dillon and Dash all from Hartford, CT.

Ruby aka Na was a wonderful sister, who will be sorely missed by Sharon Roberts-Moore,  Glenda Roberts-Daniels (Derrick),  Glenn Roberts, Alvin Roberts (Val), Sylvia Roberts-Caraballo, Rhonda Roberts. She also leaves to mourn her loss, Aqil Al-Misri and Jerome Mack.

She adored her Nieces and Nephews:  Myron Roberts,  Samiya Moore, Noel & DaShawn Caraballo, LeNita Moore, Sharday Barnes, Roshelle & Shakira Shannon, Julita Roberts,  Jazimine & Malcolm Roberts.

Ruby had an abundance of close personal friends, too numerous to mention individually.  Given her sudden passing she will be missed by all.
