Rose "Ree" Marie Baker

Rose (Ree) Marie Baker, age 74, of Hartford  was a cherished resident of Hartford, Connecticut, who passed away peacefully on October 31, 2025 in Bridgeport, CT. Born on October 6, 1951 in Hartford to the late Charles Sr. and Jessie (Baisden) Baker, Rose spent her entire life in Hartford, she attended Hartford Public schools and building deep connections within her community.

Rose devoted her professional life to the field of business administration, working for several employers throughout her career. She was widely recognized not only for her dedication and work ethic but also for her impeccable sense of style, always taking pride in her elegant and classy appearance. Rose’s warmth and kindness extended beyond her career, touching the hearts of family, friends, and all who knew her.

Rose was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter, Desiree Baker, her brother Charles Baker Jr., and her sister Charlotte Baker. She is survived by her sister, Cora (Baker) Banks; her brothers, William (Barbara) Baker, Cleve (Yvonne) Baker, and Joseph Baker; as well as a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, all of whom will remember and cherish her kind and loving spirit.

Funeral services for Rose will be held on November 10, 2025, at All Faith Memorial Chapel, located at 90 John Fitch Blvd. in South Windsor, CT. The viewing will take place from 10:00 AM, followed by a Celebration of life at 11:00 AM. Burial will occur at Mountain View Cemetery.
