Ronald Morgan Brown

Ronald Morgan Brown Jr., 63, of Hartford, CT departed this life on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at Duke University Hospital in Durham, North Carolina. Ronald was born on March 9, 1962, to Ronald M. Brown Sr., and the late Susie Wilson Brown in Hartford, Connecticut. Ronald was predeceased by his mother, Susie W. Brown, his brother, Kevin A. Brown, and his beloved dog, Shaggy.

Ronald graduated from Thomas Snell Weaver High School in June 1983. Along with his parents he was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church in Windsor, CT. He retired from the State of Connecticut Department of Transportation after 32 years of service and from the Hartford XL Center after 40 years of service. Ronald was a sports fanatic with the Dallas Cowboys being his favorite longtime team. He also loved cooking, traveling, and playing BINGO.

As a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Ronald leaves behind his devoted wife, Loria A. Brown of 15 years, a son Ronald M. Brown III of Sanford, North Carolina; a daughter Susan V. Brown of Manchester, CT, and a brother, Timothy C. Brown (Kellie) of East Hartford, CT; 3 grandchildren, Kevin T. Burnett, Kendra D. Burnett, and Romelo M. Brown. He also leaves to cherish his memory to a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
