Robert Louie Dale

Robert Louie Dale passed away peacefully on Friday,  February 21, 2020 in East Hartford at his residence, Riverside Health & Rehabilitation Center. Robert was born on 9/2/43 in Manchester, Jamaica, West Indies. He worked as a home contractor in Jamaica before relocating to the United States settling in Hartford, CT. Robert worked as a brick maker & eventually was a handyman for Kaman industries.He never tired of his desire for his native Jamaican dishes & enjoyed listening to the golden oldies era of music. Robert was a Member of The Heart - Greater Hartford Church of Christ where he found joy in the worship & fellowship with family & friends. 

 

Robert was pre-deceased by his Mother, Ivy Hales. He is survived by his siblings; one brother Clarence Dale & four sisters Vinett Cubbs, Iris Bailey, Beverly Dale, & Alita Dale. Robert leaves behind his children; Ann Marie East, Karlene Tulier & husband Harry Tulier, Claire Dale-Gordon & husband Devon Gordon & Samantha Dale. His grandchildren include; Daniel East, Chavon Campbell, Jonathan Tulier, Summer Tulier, Daniel Telfer, Darien Telfer, Devardo Gordon, Davion Gordon, & Adrianna Gordon. Robert also had numerous nieces & nephews.

 

A Calling hour will be held at All Faith Memorial Chapel, 90 John Fitch Blvd, South Windsor on Friday March 13, 2020 from 10 - 11am. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 am with a burial at Mount Saint Benedict Cemetery in Bloomfield, CT immediately following.
