Patricia Ann Rhone, 76, of Wethersfield, CT, transitioned peacefully in the presence and care of her loving son Tyrell Baldwin at Hartford Hospital on January 20, 2024.
Born and raised in Hartford, Connecticut, Patsy entered this world on December 23, 1947 to Mae Dee Rhone (96 yrs young) and John Dee Rhone (deceased). She is survived by her son, Tyrell Baldwin and grandson, Tyren N. Baldwin, three sisters Caroline Rhone, Newington CT, Sandra Rhone, East Hartford CT, Sheila Bonner East Hartford CT, three brothers John-Ivan Rhone, Hartford CT, Timothy (Pamela) Rhone Manchester CT, Wayne Rhone, New York City and preceded by one brother Thomas Rhone.
Patsy leaves behind nieces and nephews, Raquel (James) Williams, Brittnee, Indya; Melissa Morgan, Marcus, Micah, McKayla; Nasha Carolyn Rhone, Danisha, Lynae, Paris; Tajuan Lanel Rhone, Alexis; Ivan Giovanni Rhone, Ivan; Aqua Patricia Drakes; Rolondo Wayne Bonner; and a host of cherished and beloved cousins and friends.
Family-oriented and with a special fondness for Christmas, which may have been because she was born on December 23rd, Patsy hosted Christmas festivities yearly pre-pandemic.
She received her education in the Hartford Public Schools system and Retired from Phoenix Insurance Company after 25 years of service. Following her retirement, Patsy found fulfillment in working with the elderly as a Home Health Aid, reflecting her helping demeanor. She followed in the footsteps of her mother, uncles, aunts, and cousins by joining Mount Calvary Baptist Church, where she was a faithful and devoted member, actively participating in praise and worship alongside her church family for many decades. Additionally, she served on the Ushers Board and was the Supervisor of the Youth Ushers Board.
