Honoring the life of Norma Veronica Murphy, a beloved individual who touched the hearts of many with her wit, strength, and unwavering honesty. Let's encapsulate her legacy through a design that reflects her vibrant spirit and memorable presence. Norma was raised in Jamaica and later migrated to the United States at the age of 18. Norma worked many years as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) until she retired from Mediplex of Wethersfield. Norma had a kind heart, always ready to assist her family in any way she could. She would regularly reach out to family members she hadn't seen in a while. She was sociable, enjoyed organizing, and actively participated in church events. If you didn't have a ticket to her church function by the end of the conversation, you were going.
Norma leaves to cherish her memory daughters Roxanne Ellis of West Hartford, Charmaine Murphy of Hartford, 5 grandchildren, Darren Chambers Jr., Anasia O’Connor, Marvin Byrd Jr., Syncear Dawson, and Bryson Denby. Her sister Cynthia Murray of Hartford. Her close cousins Valencia Coleman, Yvonne Murphy-Brown, and Doret White. She also has 2 great granddaughters, Ja’lasia and Allah’na Byrd and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
