It is with heavy hearts and profound sorrow that we announce the untimely passing of Myron Antoine Meyers on March 15, 2025.
He was born on November 22, 1989, in Hartford, CT and was the son of Michelle King- Nelson and Darryl Meyers, Sr. Myron was a father, son, brother, nephew, cousin and friend. Myron was known to everyone as “Bloxz.” His infectious smile and larger-than-life personality impacted those who cross paths with him. Myron’s life was tragically cut short, leaving a void in the lives of everyone who knew and loved him.
Myron was known to light up EVERY room he was in with his witty personality, trash talk, and greeted you simply saying, “what up baby!?” He was observed by others to be invincible, overprotective and a “bully.” He was the embodiment of loyalty and fearlessness. His energy could be felt, and his infectious laugh could be heard long before he was seen coming through the door. Whether he was cracking jokes, pulling off the smoothest dance moves, or sneaking in a mischievous
smile, Myron’s ability to make people feel comfortable was second to none. A heart that big could only fit a man his size. To know Myron was to
love Myron.
Myron’s legacy will continue through his three young children; Yan’Eisha Meyers, Amyr Meyers, and Kinsley Meyers. In addition to his devoted parents, Myron is survived by his four siblings; Darryl Meyers, Jr. (Dee), Dominique Meyers, Savannah Newton-Meyers and Derek Newton- Meyers. Additionally, Myron is also survived by his sister in law. Karla R. Myron was affectionately known as “Uncle Mie” by his nephew, Treyson Meyers. He is also survived by his “bonus mothers,” Doreen Jenville and Lavetta Newton, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Myron was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Ms. Rose King and Mrs. Constance Meyers.
Myron’s larger-than-life personality will forever remain in the hearts of his loved ones. Though he has been taken from us far too soon, his legacy will live on through the stories, laughter, and love that he shared with everyone who was fortunate enough to know him. We will miss you, Myron. You may no longer be here, physically,
but your spirit, your heart, and love will never fade. Rest in peace, rock the heavens, and know you will always be in our hearts.
