Michael Jones Obituary
Michael Anthony Jones, 55 of Rockmart Ga, departed this life peacefully on Sunday, April 15, 2018 at Saint Francis Hospital. Born in Hartford, he was the beloved son of Arlene Jones Pina of
Windsor. At a young age, the family moved to Windsor where he graduated from Windsor High School 1980. After high school he joined the US Air Force and where he performed as a B-52 mechanic.
After his Air Force years he returned to Windsor briefly and later relocated to Georgia where he began his cooking career.
Michael was an awesome cook, he loved cooking for family and friends. It was nothing for him to fly wherever he had to go to cater an event. His last employer Chez Josef in Agawam MA where he performed as an event chef. Michael relocated back to Windsor last year to be his mother’s full
time care keeper when she became ill. Beside his mother, he leaves, a daughter Payton McClarity Jones of Ga; a brother Louis Jones of PA; a sister Donna Frederick of GA; Aunt Rev Ida Rogers of Bloomfield; uncle Richard Jones Sr of NV; Nephews Andrae Jones of TX and Rashon Fairnot of PA; Nieces Tarshia Holder of NY, Rashetta Fairnot of MD, Mia Fairnot of GA, and Dominque Fairnot of GA, along with a host of other relatives and friends. Michael also leaves 2 special friends Ralph “Brother” Bartee and William “Willie” Parrish. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at
1:00pm at All Faith Memorial Chapel. 90 John Fitch Blvd, South Windsor, CT
