Melissa Elaine Grate

Melissa Elaine grate 56 of Springfield,Ma. passed away on July 18th 2024. She was formerly from Hartford, CT.

Melissa was born on January 10,1968 in Dawson, South Carolina to both the late Lillie mae grate and Ben grate. Melissa Grate attended Arsenal elementary school, quirk middle school both of Hartford and Hartford high school.

Besides her parents she was predeceased by her oldest son Benjamin Allen Grate She is survived by her children Shanelle Grate, Michelle Grate-mccoy, Rasheem McCoy, Kendall Camby, Carla Grate. Grandchildren bennaihzia Gilbert, Kailyn grate, Koby Camby, Saije Gilbert, faith Mccoy, Kendell Camby. Sibling Priscilla cromedy, Irving Kirby, Michael grate, Brenda grate, Hank grate and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A grave side service will be held Friday August 2 In  Mountain View cemetery, Bloomfield and are private at the request of the family.
