Maxine Baker Obituary
Maxine Baker (Patterson), 69, of Manchester, CT died peacefully on Friday, October 27,
2017. She was born March 9, 1948, in Brundidge, AL to the late Lewiston and Annie
Claude Patterson. She retired after 27 years from Pratt and Whitney, East Hartford
in 2006. She leaves to cherish her memory a devoted and loving husband of 51
years Morris Baker; son Carl Baker (Sandra) of East Hartford; granddaughter Emily
Baker; four brothers Ozzie, Curtis (Doris), Harold (Katrina) and Willie (Alice)
Patterson; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. She is
predeceased by siblings Earl, Jimmie, Lewiston and Benjamin Patterson; Betty
Dunn and Shirley Newson. Services will be held Thursday, November 2, 2017;
calling hours 9 a.m., services 10 a.m. at Bethel A.M.E. Church, 1154 Blue Hills Ave,
Bloomfield, CT; burial at East Cemetery, 220 East Center Street, Manchester, CT;
