Kaerene was born the fifth child to William and Sarah George
( both pre-deceased ) making up four daughters and one son, at
Metropolitan Hospital in New York City, New York; and she
received all of her formal education in New York. She attended
Baruch College after graduating from High School – pursuing an.
education in Para- Legal Studies. She lived and worked in New
York for many years as a Contract Paralegal and went on to
become a Magistrate in New York.
In 1992 she moved to Hartford, Connecticut, and found it
difficult to work as a Contract Paralegal due to not being licensed
here and she returned to school and became a Certified Nurse
Assistant. From there she worked for several years as a Home
Healthcare CNA. She never married and she never had any
children. Instead, she helped her first cousin raise her five
children – one boy and four girls.
Meanwhile, Kaerene was active in her mother's Church, Rev.
Sarah George where she assisted with services, legal paperwork
and the everyday management of the Church until her Pastor
and Mother went home to glory on April 4th, 2010 and was buried
in New Jersey. Kaerene, along with her siblings, continued to
worship and conduct Bible Studies in their home.
In 2021, Kaerene developed Cancer and under went the removal
surgery, which rendered her disable to return to her line of work;
but she didn't despair. She soon enrolled into the University of
Saint Joseph to become a Physician Assistant, where she had only
one year left to go in her study prior to her death.
She is survived by her three sisters – Valverene George Oaks,
Bernadette George, and Kim George; one brother – Lionel
George, and several cousins and their children.
