Joshua Malik Ward

Beloved son, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend departed this earth on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at the age of 26, unexpectedly.

Joshua (Josh) Malik Ward born in Hartford, Connecticut on February 12, 1997. Joshua was educated in the Hartford and Wethersfield, Connecticut school systems. He played football with various teams in the area. He loved the game with all his heart.

Joshua was passionate about life and the things that brought him joy.  His life was filled with enthusiasm, laughter, and memorable moments that left a profound impact on everyone who knew him. He had a remarkable ability to connect with kids instantly. Whether it was playing video games with them or kicking a ball around the backyard. He always managed to bring a smile to the faces of the children around him. He will be missed by all that knew and loved him.

Joshua is predeceased by his father Jermaine Ward, paternal grandparents Frank Randolph & Ollie G. Ward, paternal great grandmother Marie Ward, maternal great grandfather Louis Reed, Sr., maternal grandmother Shirley Reed.

Joshua leaves to cherish his memories his mother Tiffany “Reese” Jackson (Stacy); 3 sisters, Diajah Ward, Keyarra Ward, Shamerie War, 4 brothers, Terrance Vermont, Jr., Jermaine Ward, Jr., Jahlan Ward, Jaden Ward; his great grandmother Irene Reed, his grandfather Louis Reed, Jr.; A special aunt and uncle Carolyn and Dennis Grant Sr.; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
