Mrs. Johnnie Mae Dixson -Davidson, 75, of Wethersfield, CT entered into rest on November 19, 2018. The daughter of the late Tommie Lee Abrom-Dixson and JD Dixson Johnnie was born in Albany, Georgia on October 30, 1943. Johnnie Mae moved to Hartford with her family when she was 9 year old. She attended the Hartford public school system. She worked for Community Renewal Team for 40 years where she later retired. After retiring, Johnnie enjoyed spending time with her family as well as traveling and playing bingo. Johnnie Mae was an member of Eastern Star Love Chapter 52, she was also a member of the Brown Sugars. She leaves behind to cherish her memories, her husband James E Davidson and her six son Tommie Dixson (Josephine) Ellis Dixson Drice Davidson Vincent Davidson all of Hartford DeBrandson Davidson and fiancé Irma of East Hartford James Davidson and fiance Carrie of Manchester CT. Johnnie Mae also leaves 17 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Brother-in-law Gerald and Cassandra Davidson of Hartford, Sister-in-law Josephine and Ronnie Crocker of Bloomfield ct, Stephan Hoyle of Bloomfield CT, A very special Goddaughter Dr. Jeleta (Rev. Dr. Charles) Brown of CA. Two Best friends, Caroline White of Mass and Elizabeth Pitts of Wethersfield, CT and a host of nieces and nephews. Johnnie Mae was preceded by her brother John Dixson and four grandchildren Kirby Lewis Valencia Dixson and Drice and Brice Davidson. Johnnie Mae Will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
