John David McBean, Jr

With profound sadness we announce the passing of John David McBean Jr., affectionately known as “Buggie.”  He passed away on Wednesday May 26, 2021 in Maine.

Born on August 18, 1986, in Hartford, CT, son of John David McBean Sr., and Geraldine 

James-Myles and step-son of Linton Myles.

Predeceased by his grandparents, Albertha B.F. McBean, of South Carolina and David Samuel McBean of Hartford, CT, along with his God-mother Lois Hillman of Georgia. A graduate of East Hartford High School in 2005, he went on to attend Lincoln Tech in Newington.

Born on August 18, 1986 in Hartford, CT son of John David McBean Sr. and Geraldine James-Myles, and step-son of Linton Myles. A graduate of East Hartford High School and Lincoln Tech in Newington, Ct. He was a devoted son who gave all his heart and soul to his family and friends.  He enjoyed social gatherings, Car Clubs (Acura), and loved traveling both domestically and internationally. He was amazing working with his hands creating and building the unthinkable.  He was a jack-of-all-trades and a sponge for knowledge.  Most importantly, he enjoyed life even through the good and the bad. His affectionate laughter and smile would light up a room instantly. He was a “Legend”.

Buggie leaves behind the treasures of his heart, Elias John McBean and his mother, Amanda Lynn Gualazzi of Old Saybrook, CT.  

He also leaves behind his beloved and devoted parents and sisters, Yalonda James-Yearwood and her two children, Y’wiahatt and Sirenity of Manchester, CT, his sister, Alexzandra McBean (Juan Vazquez), and their four children of East Hartford CT. Step-sister Venisa Myles and her son of Windsor Locks, CT. He also leaves behind three god-daughters, Sarah and Naomy Shaw of New Britain, CT., and Aubree Michaud of Enfield, CT. His God-Sisters Gwen Upshawn, LaShawn Hillman, Valarie Simpson, Quanesha White-Jones, Kanecia Williams, Shatasia Hillman, Shaffon Stokes, Laneja Hillman of Georgia. God-Brother Curtis Pertillar of  Connecticut.

His second family the Shaw Family (Amon, Sarah, Harvel, Otis, Mark, Kenroy, Carlene, Andrea, Rogdray all of Hartford, CT).
