John D. Banks passed on Friday, June 6, 2014. He is survived by one son, John Banks Jr. of Ansonia, CT; a sister, Sarah Burke of Greenville, SC; devoted niece, Andrea Daniels of Bloomfield, CT and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be Tuesday, June 17, 11 a.m. with calling hour 10 a.m. at Mount Moriah Baptist Church, 222 Barbour Street, Hartford. Burial will be in State Veteran Cemetery, Middletown. ALL FAITH MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 90 John Fitch Blvd. So. Windsor, Ct has charge of arrangements.
