Joann Hill

Joann Hill, 69 of Hartford, CT passed away peacefully while surrounded by her family on February 3, 2025.  Joann was born on March 9, 1955 in Columbus, GA to Rosie Hill and the late William Hill.  She graduated from Hartford High School and furthered her education at Morse School of Business.  Joann held various jobs throughout her years.  Those companies included G. Fox & Company, Aetna Insurance Company, Hartford Steam Boiler and later on a caregiver.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.  Joann also enjoyed watching her soap operas, forensic files and crime tv.  She was well loved and respected by those who knew her.

Joann leaves behind to cherish her memory: her mother, Rosie Hill; sons, Keith Hill and Clemis Duncan, Jr. (Snoot); and daughter Latasha Hill, all of Hartford, CT; grandchildren Keith Jr., Johnell, Shanele, Azzure, Keilani,  Eddie Iverson, Tahjae, Jahmyra, EJ and Noah; 10 great grandchildren (1 deceased); four sisters, Essie Griggs (Clifford) of Hartford, Betty Tatum (Doug) of Union City, CA, Julia Hill of Bloomfield, Herline Hill (Neville Thomas) of Hartford; one brother, Curtis Hill (Sherelle).  Joann is predeceased by siblings Jesse Hill and Francine Isome.  She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, special niece Dede Griggs and devoted friend Jeannette Johnson.   Special thanks to the Johnson family.
