Jacqueline Vinters Obituary

Jacqueline Denise Vinters, affectionately known to her family

and friends as Jackie, or “Poopie,” unexpectedly completed her

earthly journey on Friday, March 14, 2025. Born in Hartford, CT on

October 5, 1962 to the late Edward Jackson and Patricia Pottinger.

Jackie attended Hartford Public Schools, attaining her high school

diploma at Weaver High School. Jacqueline selflessly gave her time

and guidance employed as a home healthcare provider throughout

the years.

Jackie will be missed tremendously, leaving precious memories

and a lifetime of laughter to her 3 loving, devoted children: Debresha

Vinters (Ft. Lauderdale, FL), Jeffrey Vinters (Hartford, CT) and

Dominique Vinters (Atlanta, GA). Her two beautiful granddaughters

whom she loved and adored so much: DeAsia Vinters and Alana

Wilson. A unique goddaughter, her “Booshie” Kwanisha Montgomery.

She also leaves a special friend to the end, Pervis Genus.

Jackie was a devoted mother, aunt, grandmother, godmother

and friend. Her bright smile, vivacious sense of humor and vibrant

personality could warm a room in a heartbeat. Wherever there was

music, there was a poker-keno game going on. Jackie was and will

always be cherished, loved and respected by everyone that knew her.

She will forever be honored by a long list of family and friends. Her

influence extended beyond her family and left a lasting impact on

everyone fortunate to have crossed her path.
