Jacob (Jake) Trotman Jr. of Windsor, CT and Beloved Husband of Diane Trotman passed away peacefully at Saint Francis Hospital, Hartford, CT, January 8, 2021. Born February 24, 1942 in Parrott, GA to the Late Jacob and Lonnie Mae Trotman. Jake moved to Hartford, CT in 1964 and worked as a mechanic at Tommy’s Garage for 32 years before moving to Penske Truck Leasing. After retiring from Penske in 2008, he wasn’t satisfied sitting around, so he became a driver for the Town of Windsor where he formed many friendships.
Jake was very involved in bowling during his entire life and coached many young bowlers over the years. He was very proud of his two perfect 300 games.
He leaves his wife Diane; sons Jacob Tirone Trotman (Andrea), Marcus Harris, Brian Harris; daughter Denise Williams; grandchildren Jacob Troy, Everett, Chase, MonaLisa, Marquis, Brandon, Ashliee, Alexis, Kendall, Caiden and Jackson; and great-granddaughters, Bella, Liyah, Laila and Arin. He also leaves his sister GerthaBillington, nieces and nephew; Bertha (Taylor), Rosa (Shanice, Marc, Mikayla), Winifred and Vernon (Vernon, LaShey, Jerry); and his sister-in-law Karen Harris (William); his Godson Mike Phillip as well as a host of other relatives, and friends.
A Celebration of his Life will take place on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at 10:00 am
at All Faith Memorial Chapel, 90 John Fitch Boulevard, South Windsor, CT with visitation at 9:00 am.
