Hubert Constantine Brown

Hubert Constantine Brown, affectionately called Hugh, 80, of 1538 Forbes Street, East Hartford CT, died peacefully on Sunday, January 5, 2025.

Born in Browns Town, St. Ann's, Jamaica on July 1, 1944, son of the late Hubert and Margaret Brown, Hugh was raised in Jamaica and migrated to the United States in the late 1960’s to learn the Electrical trade, he then returned to Jamaica where he worked at Reynolds and Richmond before migrating to the US, Hugh spent most of his life as an Electrician.

Hubert leaves to cherish his memories, five loving children, daughters Carvel of East Hartford, CT, Davina (Kim) of East Hartford, CT, sons Gary of East Hartford, CT, Travis of Philadelphia, and Hubert (Jr.) of Windsor, CT, his wife Dorothy, two sisters of Canada and Manchester, JA, grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Hubert is predeceased by first wife Thelma Brown, Father and Mother Hubert and Margaret Brown, 6 brothers and sisters Wally, Tim, Vita, Yvonne, Lee and Tiny.

Burial will be in the Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield, CT.
