Henry Hurst Jr. Obituary
Henry Hurst, Jr. 80 of Hartford, CT passed away peacefully December 25, 2015. He was born
April 12, 1935 in Martin, South Carolina (Allendale County) to the late Henry Hurst, Sr. and Anna
Smokes. Henry is predeceased by his beloved wife Nora A. Alridge of Buena Vista, Georgia. He is
survived by his children: Henry (Carolyn) Taylor of Barnwell, SC., Gail Brown and Sharon Hurst
of Manchester, CT. Diana, Gregory, James "Bo" (Regina), Donald "Joker" Hurst of Hartford, CT. and Monica (Winston) Chapman-Robinson of Hartford, CT. The calling hours will be held Thursday, January 7th at 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. with Funeral services immediately following at, Hopewell Baptist Church, 280 Windsor Avenue, Windsor, CT. Internment will be at East Cemetery, 240 East Center Street, Manchester, CT. A special thanks to Dr. Satyarani Tallapureddy. She was such a blessing to our father Henry Hurst, Jr. in his time of need with his sickness and his battle with cancer from the beginning to the very end.
