Hazel Lee Moore was born March 19, 1938 in Belgrade, North Carolina to the late Elsie Mae Meadows and Nathan “Chest” Meadows. She was promoted into eternal rest on January 14, 2022.
Hazel Lee affectionately known as “Baby-Cakes” moved to Hartford, CT at an early age to be with her husband, the late Nathaniel Moore, Sr. She was the true meaning of sacrifice. She loved people and would do anything to make sure people were doing well while in her care. She loved to cook and bake. She would bake cakes and put them on her kitchen table for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren to eat. She was the person who would not eat, only to ensure her children had food to eat. She would talk about her children everywhere she went because she loved her children. Even when fussing at her children, she would still do anything to ensure they were doing well. She sacrificed dreams to make sure her children’s dreams manifested. She was the greatest woman alive to us! She was a member of IAR Bridge Ministries
Hazel Lee was predeceased by her husband Nathaniel Moore, Sr and her daughter Wendy Irene Moore. She leaves behind memories to be cherished by her children & spouses; Anthony Moore, Hartford, CT; Peachie Cuttino (Michael), Windsor, CT; Nathaniel Moore, Jr.(Andrea) Hartford, CT; Robert Moore (Kirsten), Marietta, GA; Kelvin Moore (Dawn), Virginia; April Moore, Hartford, CT; Troy Moore (Alesia), Hartford, CT; Kendrick Moore (Vanessa), Bloomfield, CT and a host of grandchildren and great- grandchildren as well as other family and friends.
