George Edgar Robinson

George Edgar Robinson Sr, 75, of Hartford, CT, passed away on May 21, 2024.

George was born on September 13, 1949, in Hartford, CT, to Walter and Caroline Robinson. He is survived by his wife, Louise Robinson. He was a loving father to Jeannette Robinson, Carla Robinson, George Robinson Jr. (Reva Robinson), Celestine "Angie" Unchangco (Sherwin Unchangco), Charles Green (Mary Green), and Leon Peak (Natasha Peak). George was also a cherished grandfather to Takarra Harrell (Robert Harrell Jr), George Robinson III, Khania Taylor, Jordan Robinson, L'Oréal Robinson, Alexia Robinson, Giovanni Unchangco, Jontaé Unchangco, Lawrence Holloway, Joshua Daniel, Albert Daniel, Nathaniel Daniel, Zariyah Peak, Destiny Peak, Shyloh Peak, Leon Peak Jr, Keyshira Preston, and London Preston. He was a proud great-grandfather to Kayden Johnson, Angel Robinson, Kaylani Robinson and Kye Robinson.

In his leisure time, George enjoyed fishing, solving crossword puzzles, and playing dominoes. He was known for his competitive spirit and his love for spending time outdoors.

George will be deeply missed by his siblings Walter Robinson Jr., Rodney Robinson, David Robinson and Arlene Robinson, cousins/best friends Huey and Guy, as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Paul Robinson, his daughter Letisha Gunn and life-long partner Inez Peake.
