Elizabeth Holmes-Arter

Elizabeth Holmes Arter, 60, of Hartford, Connecticut received her wings on October 12, 2022. She was born in Manhattan, New York to the late Donald Holmes and Mattie Robinson Laird

Elizabeth was a resident of Connecticut for over 50 years and graduated from Weaver High School. She dedicated her life to caring for those in need of assistance as a Personal Care Assistant for over 30 years. She was a devoted and loving caregiver and her clientele adored her. She was last employed by Catholic Family Services in Hartford.

Elizabeth was known for her jokes and hilarious laughter. She was always willing to help anyone in need. Liz was recently honored by her family and friends on her 60th Birthday.

Elizabeth leaves behind one sister, Yvette Jackman, two stepsisters, June Husband and Felicia Murray of Hartford; three nephews, Clayton Jackman of Orlando, Florida, Michael, Chavaugn and Charlie Robinson; one niece Ashanti Robinson; one uncle Joseph Robinson, one aunt Katie (Lloyd) Windross all of Hartford; a long time devoted friend, Quintin Rose, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Elizabeth was predeceased by her amazing son, Rayshawn Holmes, her parents, Sister, Deloris Robinson Campbell, step-sister, Margaret, nephew, Michael Robinson, five uncles, Lawrence, William, Jerry, Eugene and George; and two aunts, Mary and Louise,

Elizabeth was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
