Eddie Cepheus Thornton

Eddie Cepheus Thornton, 73, of Hartford, CT passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at home. He was born the sixth child to late Mose and Eddies Johnson-Thornton on December 28,1950 in Eufaula, Alabama. He graduated from High School in Eufaula, AL. After graduation he relocated to Hartford, CT. Eddie enlisted in the United States Navy. He spent time traveling the world. He was a very generous person. He always had a word for everyone he met. He spent his summers in his backyard entertaining his friends and family. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Hazel, his sisters Nellie Williams, Sacramento, CA and Carolyn Thornton, Springfield, MA. Sons, Devon, and Eddie Jr., and daughter in law Paige Sumlin-Thornton, daughters Tricia, and Rashida along with 8 grandchildren and many nephews and a niece, and a sister-in-law Sarah Gamble, and many family and friends.
