A natural entrepreneur, Devon made his mark in both the culinary world and real estate. He was driven by ambition, creativity, and a desire to build something meaningful. Known for his sense of humor, kindness, fearless attitude, and sharp sense of style, Devon stood firmly in what he believed in. Those who knew him will always remember his warm smile, mouthwatering, cooking, loyalty, charming personality, and genuine passion for helping others.

He is survived by his children: Julieann Scott of Minnesota; Nekoma Scott Byrd of Georgia; Devon Dennis of Hartford; Omar Nicely of Texas; Kareen Scott of Hartford; and Devon Scott Jr. of Wallingford; as well as his son-in-law, Marvin Byrd. He is also lovingly remembered by his grandchildren: Jonisha and Jayshaun Lindsey; Marquez Nicely; Jaunyeah and D’Ovion Robinson; Davinci Pink; and Andre, Ameerah, Ajayla, and Sade Dennis.

Devon shared meaningful chapters of his life with his wife, Rhona Baugh Scott and ex wife Beverly Hunt Scott, both of whom held an important place in his journey. He is also survived by his brother, Everton Osbourne, along with many extended family members and dear friends who will miss him deeply.
