Derrick Sloane

Derrick Sloane, 49, was born and raised in Hartford, CT. He transitioned at his home on Tuesday, October 24, 2023.  Derrick loved his children and his grandchildren, he was very caring and devoted to his family.  If he could help with any thing he was there.  

He is survived by his mother Gloria Sloane, his brothers Floyd Sloane Jr (Renee), Aaron Sloane and Martin Thomas.  His children Taniya Sloane, Deshell Deas and Tyriq Sloane; grandchildren Damotae, Aubree, Damiyah and Alayah; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Derrick was predeceased by his father Floyd Sloane, Sr; his grandparents Lewis and Girlie Allen; Aunt Margaret Allen and his Aunt and Uncle Leroy and Patricia Douglas.

Derrick will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
