Coqueese Hunter Edwards, 78 of Bloomfield, CT passed away Tuesday, Feb, 13, 2018 at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford. Coqueese "Cookie" Hunter was the Daughter of the late Henry Hunter and Lucretia Lee. Born in Rock Bluff, Florida she was one 10 siblings, 5 Boys and 5 girls. Cookie graduated high school in Utica, New York . Coqueese is survived by her sisters Alice Hunter Robinson, Juanita Yarby and brother James Hunter of Chipley, FL, sister in law Jeanette Hunter of Bangston, AL and Ollie Hunter of Boston, MA and significant life long friends Vera Anderson and Bunny Zinderman. Four sons, Edward Hunter and wife Waraporn of Singapore, Ronald Jenkins and Gloria Jenkins (deceased) of Bloomfield CT, Robert Jenkins and wife Janice of Danville, VA, Darnell Calloway of Bloomfield, CT, 7 grandchildren; 7 great grand children and a host of grand nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. Funeral service will be Monday, February 19, 11 a.m. with calling hour 10 a.m. at ALL FAITH MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 90 John Fitch Blvd. So. Windsor, CT. Burial will be Tuesday, February 20, 12 noon at Mt. View Cemetery, Bloomfield, CT. .
