Carol Georgiana Williams, native of Kingston Jamaica born April 7,1955 passed away peacefully at St Francis Hospital on May 1, 2025. Carol attended St. George Girls Primary School in Kingston before migrating to the United States specifically Maryland before finally settling in Hartford CT with her mother Cora E. Dixon. Carol had a nurturing soul and was born to be a mother, giving birth to eight children of her own. Although Carol (mommy) held a few short term jobs, nursing and housing keeping, her true calling was to raise her own children and those that were not her own by blood but by love. Carol was called aunty and mother to so many young people in the neighborhood and they loved and protected her always. She loved to dress and wear makeup and lipstick. She was known for her blond hair cut. Everything she wore had to look good on her. She always had a smile on her face when she spoke. Everyone loved her. Carol is proceeded by Cora E. Dixon (mother), George Williams (father), Nichole S. Williams (daughter), Steven D. Williams (son) Vaughn Taylor (grand-son), Kyle T. Dixon (grand-son), Brea N. Williams ( granddaughter). Carol leaves behind her (brother) Paul P. Newman, (brother) Courtney Newman, (sister) Minerva A. Newman, (sister) Marjorie E. Newman, children (daughter) Johnette S. Crawford (BC Ruffin III), (son) John T. Williams, (daughter) Tanika D. Clarke, (son) Neville L. Clarke, Jr (daughter) Carolyn R. Clarke, (daughter) Latoya D. Clarke, a host of grand children and great grand children who all loved her dearly. Carol our mom will be missed so very much, her no holds bar and don't tolerate no mess attitude, will be cherished by all who come into contact with her.
