Carmen E. Rosado Figueroa 82, of Cidra Puerto passed away on June 10, 2024 in Hartford CT. Her home for the last 65 years. Carmen was the daughter of the late Clotilde Rosado and the late Monseratte Figueroa.
Carmen was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and dear friend. She will fondly be remembered as a woman with a warm and kind spirit who loved her family more than anything. She taught her children the value of family, respect, and creating memories. Carmen doted on her grandchildren and loved being in their presence. She had a great sense of humor, loved to laugh, and was quick-witted. Carmen loved her baby dolls, adored her butterflies, flowers and plants. She enjoyed her trips to her homeland Puerto Rico and cherished all of the time spent with family and friends.
Carmen is survived by her husband Maximino Rosa. Her siblings Carlos Rosado, Manuel Rosado, José Rivera. Her beloved children James Carrillo, Betty Carrillo, Henry Carrillo, Wilfredo Rosa, Jorge Díaz, Damaris Rosa and Danny Rosa.
Her grandchildren Diana Cardona, James Carrillo, Jason Carrillo, Melanie Lopez, Leslie Rodriguez Hector “Chiguagito” Rodriguez, Erica Rosa, Amy Carrillo,Henry Carrillo, Stacy Carrillo, Krystle Rosa, Cynthia Rosa, Jocelyn Diaz, Jalicia Diaz, Danny Rosa Jr., Danelle Rosa, Carmello Rosa, Carter Rosa, Heriberto Rosa, Max Labarre.
Great grand-children Savannah Carrillo, Adonis Cardona, Lucian Cardona, Jalyzah Ramirez, James Carrillo, Jayden Carrillo, Gianna Carrillo, Cataleya Williams, Amir Green, Jalicia Carrillo Dwayne Bland, Jaiden Centeno, Brooklyn Diaz, Leo Rodriguez, Lucas Rodriguez, Logan Rodriguez, Leilani Wiggins, Tae wiggins, Benjamin Castillo III., Kairo Castillo, Kali Castillo, Demi Bradford and Zuriyah Rosa.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her siblings Gregorio Rosado, Cecilia Rosado, Pedro Rosado and niece Milagros Melendez.
Carmen’s family will receive friends on Monday June 17, 2024 at the All Faith Memorial on 90 John Fitch Boulevard
South Windsor, Connecticut 06074 between the hours of 5:00 pm - 8:00pm.
The following day, Tuesday June 18 2024 at 10:00 am, mourners may gather to say their final goodbyes and depart to Mount Saint Benedict on 1 Cottage Grove Road in Bloomfield CT. 06002 for 11:00am.
Her legacy lives on through the beautiful family she co-created and the friends who have become family. Emilinda, Barbara, Carol, Brunilda, Benny, Ivelisse, Marisela, Olga, Leonor, and her Galán Jose Boria.
