Carlis Devorce-Shannon

Carlis Devorce-Shannon was born on January 13, 1961, in Hartford, Connecticut. He was called home to be with the Lord on February 2, 2026, in Hartford, Connecticut.

 Carlis was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Gloria Devorce; his mother, Verna Brown; his father, Baby Shannon; and his brother, Pastor Shawn Devorce.

 He leaves to cherish his memory his loving daughter, Tanisha Roscoe of Atlanta, Georgia, and his cherished grandchildren, Deshawn Johnson, Sharise Lagasse, and Jayvarious Beaufort of Hartford, Connecticut. He also leaves behind his godchildren, Dennis Grant and Dontae Grant.

 Carlis also leaves behind his siblings: Charles Devorce and Jackie Devorce of Hartford, Connecticut; Roderick Breedlove and Pamela Breedlove of Rochester, New York; Kedric Devorce of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; and Jacqueline Shannon of Hartford, Connecticut; along with his siblings from upstate New York: Dawayne Shannon, Demetrius Shannon, Diron Shannon, Ice Shannon, Darnell Shannon, Mark Shannon, Cassandra Shannon, Lisa Thomas, Renee Clinton, Gary Shannon, Larry Shannon, Michael Shannon, Craig Shannon, and Ujuana Shannon.

 He also leaves behind a host of aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many loyal friends who will forever cherish his memory.

 Carlis Devorce-Shannon will be remembered for his love of family, his faith, and the lasting impact he made on the lives of those who knew and loved him.
