Andrew Mathis

Andrew Lamont Mathis, 43, of East Hartford, CT passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 6th,

2024. He was an avid motorcycle & dirtbike enthusiast with a big heart and a caring soul.

Andrew also worked as an Automotive Parts Distributor and maintained an entrepreneurial spirit. He loved spending peaceful moments by the Connecticut River, hanging out at the Casino with his friends, eating amazing food, and enjoying the company of his family, especially his mother.

Andrew was a Father, Son, Brother, Uncle, Grandson, nephew and Friend. He will be truly missed always and forever. Andrew is survived by his Daughter A'mya Mathis, Parents Darlene & Andrew Holloway, his sister Lakisha Mathis, his half siblings, Andrea Holloway, Martel Holloway, Marcus Holloway, his longtime  Fiancé Atisha Riley and her 4 children, Grandmother Prenzina Holloway, Grandfather  Willie Mathis, his Nephews Taquari & Kaiden Hunter, special Aunt Andrea Lewis, and a host of Aunts, Uncles, Nephews, Cousins, Friends, & Coworkers. He was preceded in death by his Grandmother Linda Mathis, Grandfather Leroy Holloway Sr., and his and Parents, Ruby & Charles Tyson.
