Music by The Piano Brothers

Pamela Doreen McCann Berry, 62, of Manchester was granted her Angel wings and gracefully placed in the arms of God on Wednesday, August 12, 2020. She was born on October 22,1957 to the late Josephine Milliner McCann and William David McCann Sr.

While her exterior displayed a striking woman with dark and smoothed skin and an infectious smile, Pamela’s disposition was that of an outspoken, confident, fearless and devout woman of God. Pamela was stoic and purposeful as she embraced life in a spiritual manner. Pamela loved her family as much as she loved the Lord, doting on her daughter, son, and grandchildren often.  It is only fitting that we celebrate the love that we experienced in our time with her.

Pamela lived in Connecticut all of her life. She graduated from Hartford Public High School and the Church Academy Business Institute. The majority of Pam's career was in the Greater Hartford area with the Hartford Police Department, Covenant Life Insurance and in the home Health Care Field. She was a longtime member of Shiloh Baptist Church where she was baptized and then later married. Pamela loved the Lord with all of her heart and received great joy going to church to see her daughter and grandchildren sing and praise dance.

Pamela is survived by her loving children Jasmine M. Berry and Jaylin A. Berry; grandchildren, Jahzara, Glen and Brooklyn (all of Manchester); Brothers; Anthony McCann, Hartford and Todd McCann, Oklahoma, Sister Yvette McCann, Bloomfield; Nephews; Anthony Carter (Sonya) Charlotte, NC, Jerry McNair III (Shenaye) Hartford, William David McCann III, RI, Jerrett Alexandre (Amber) East Hartford, William West, Manchester; JaQuan Murphy, MA, Nieces; Stacey McCann, Windsor, TaLoria Wilson (Mark Anthony II), Waterbury, Sarita Collins, Manchester; Telisa Murphy, MA, Danielle Murphy, MA, Great nephews ; Anthony Carter II, Jerron McNair, David William McCann, Keydenn Graham, Mark Anthony Wilson III; Great nieces; Shaina Carter, Ashira Stephens, Janiya Alexandre, Summer Carter, Madison Meade, Kennedi Thompson, and Janay McNair, Sister-in-law; Elaine Crosby, Brother-in-law;  Michael Alexandre and a host of other relatives, extended family and special friends. Pamela was predeceased by her husband, Roger Berry, parents, Josephine and David William McCann, Sr. and siblings, Karen and William David McCann, Jr.
