Music by The Piano Brothers

On August 10, 2018, Marjorie L. Royer of Manchester, CT, surrounded by her family, left this world to become the guardian angel we all knew her to be.

Marjorie Elaine Ludwig Royer was born on August 2, 1944 in Hope, ME to Earle and Barbara Ludwig.  She was predeceased by her Father, her beloved son Scott Royer, and her late husband Peter Royer.  She is survived by her Mother and five younger siblings.  She devastatingly leaves behind her loving family, daughter Kim and husband Phil Cohen, and their children Adam, Jacob and David; daughter Patty and husband Mark Fagan and their children Eric and Kirsten; daughter Nicole Powell and fiancé Ashley Bombard and children Makayla and Jamari. Grandchildren Desiree, Rebecca, Shauna, Dawn, and Leah.  Great grandchildren Danilo, Kaleb, Miguel, Markie, Aracelis, Lillian and Bryson.

Marjorie was a long term resident of Manchester, CT and worked at Stanadyne Automotive, in Windsor, CT for over 35 years.  She dedicated her life to her family and helping all those that she could.  We will all miss her brutal honesty, famous words of wisdom, determination, selflessness, compassion towards all and her absolute, unfaltering strength.  Whether you called her Marjorie, Marge, Mom or GMa you knew she had a heart of gold – she would tell you how it was and give you a plate to eat and a place to stay.

Services for Marjorie Royer will be held on Thursday, August 16, 2018 at All Faith Memorial Chapel, 90 John Fitch Blvd, South Windsor, CT 06074.  Viewing will be from 3-4pm, followed by funeral services 4-5pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made in her name to Autism Speaks.
